Do you ever wonder what will happen to you when you die? Everything in the Bible is written so that we may know how much God loves us, and what we have to do to go to heaven and live with Him for eternity.

'I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. ' 1 John 5:13

1. Recognize how much God loves you!

'For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. ' John 3:16

2. Recognize that we are all sinners!

'We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished him for the iniquity of us all. ' Isaiah 53:6

3. Know that Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins!

'He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.' Romans 4:25

4. You must personally invite Jesus to be the Lord (Master) of your life!

'For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ Romans 10:13

You can do this right now, in prayer (talking to God) - by praying a prayer like the one below:

"Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. Because I have sinned and need forgiveness, I ask Jesus to come into my heart. I am willing to change the direction of my life by acknowledging Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and by turning away from my sins. Thank You for giving me forgiveness, eternal life, and hope. In Jesus' Name, amen."
